FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

MORE GOOD SIGNS FROM THE BROTHERS ON THE HORIZON

“We've always wanted another brother,” said Sam Markle, President of The Brothers Markle Inc., in Toronto, “and that is why we have sold an equity share in the company to Brian Blakeley.”

Brian, a resident of Toronto has a long and varied career in entrepreneurial endeavours, in Marketing and Sales Development. He is active in community and charity activities and is an avid golfer and squash player.

The Brothers Markle Inc., co-owned by Sam & Jack, is a high profile architectural sign company. They pioneered the renaissance of neon, and the landscape of downtown Toronto. The company became a legend in the North American sign industry, developing a number of firsts, including wayfinding, architectural extrusions, and computerized building directories.

The company provides interior and exterior illuminated and non-illuminated architectural signage. The brother’s client list reads like the “Who’s Who” of Canadian business, including major developers, architects, designers, governments, hospitals, theatres, etc. They have produced some of the most interesting and dynamic signage in Toronto and beyond, creating many landmark signs, including the iconic “Sam The Record Man” a 25’ high neon record that was recently declared a heritage site (not the building, the SIGN).

Blakeley says, “There are some good signs on the horizon and they will be made by The Brothers Markle Inc.” His role with the brothers will be largely dedicated to marketing and sales.
